DairyComp Standard Items

Standard items are available in DairyComp 305 to capture specific animal data. Items are either stored or calculated values used by applications that connect to DC305 DairyComp305 - VAS Dairy Management Software to generate reports or display animal details. Standard item types can be either default (generally used by all dairies) or pre-defined (for optional use in the PULSE Platform).

NOTE: Items are customizable in DairyComp, and your dairy may use additional items not shown here. See the following for item number ranges and their associated types:

1-89: default standard items
90-1023: custom items, configured in the cowfile
1024-1999: on-the-fly items, for advanced DairyComp command line use
2000+: pre-defined standard items, for use in the PULSE Platform only

17	CAR Condition Affecting Record. CAR codes are used by DHIA to determine the status of a cow’s record. This includes reason for disposal as well as reasons for the record not to be used for sire proofs.
