What's New in WeighComp?
Read below to learn more about the latest features and improvements made to WeighComp.
WeighComp in PULSE Platform
Release Date: 2/7/22

- Harvest Management summaries are now visible: Fixed an issue where the system did not display harvest summaries correctly.
- Fixed Approved Loads display issue: Fixed an issue where the system would display Approved Loads with features that only work for Pending Loads.
- Trucking company names now display correctly: After you assign a truck to a company in the WeighComp mobile app, the system now shows the correct trucking company information on the Harvest Management page in PULSE.

- New ticket numbering structure: When you create a new spot or harvest load, the system automatically assigns a new ticket number. The ticket numbering structure has been improved. To learn more about the new ticket numbering structure, see the WeighComp mobile app note:
- Added total cost amount to transactions: You can now see the total cost of your spot loads, harvest loads, and entire harvests. Open any pending or approved load on the Harvest Management page or the Transaction Management page to view its total cost:
- Removed Delete button from Approved Loads: The Delete icon has been removed from the Approved Loads list on the Harvest Management and Transaction Management pages. This enhancement ensures that approved loads are not accidentally deleted and FeedWatch inventories remain accurate.
WeighComp Mobile App

- Pending Transaction setting now saves correctly (Version 2.6.0): Now, when you edit your Pending Transaction and uninstall the WeighComp app, your setting will still be saved when you reinstall the WeighComp app.
- Corrected date format for Spanish users (Version 2.6.0): Fixed an issue where the app would display the date in the incorrect format after the user changed the language from English to Spanish:

- New ticket numbering structure (Version 2.6.0): When you create a spot or harvest load, the system automatically assigns a new ticket number. The ticket numbering structure has been improved to better distinguish between spot and harvest loads. Additionally, if multiple WeighComp tablets are used, the new ticket numbering structure will differentiate between multiple tablets (i.e. integration zones):
- Simplified ability to save Harvest edits (Version 2.6.0): To save any Harvest changes, such as the vendor name or printer settings, users now only have to click Save once. Previously, users had to click multiple buttons to save their edits:
- Improved the transaction completion display (Version 2.6.0): When a spot load transaction is completed, the system shows the transaction completion page if print settings are enabled. This page has been updated to improve readability and usability:

WeighComp Mobile App
Release Date: 1/10/22

- App device can now connect to PULSE via Ethernet (Version 2.5.2): Users can now use an Ethernet cable to connect their WeighComp app device to the PULSE server. Previously, users could only use Wi-Fi or cellular to connect their devices to the server.
- Improved ability to enter empty truck weight (Version 2.5.2): Previously, the Empty weight field was partially hidden by the keyboard if certain settings were enabled. Now, the Empty weight field is fully visible and no longer blocked if the keyboard is enabled.
- Added ability to remove "Not legal for trade" and "Driver Signature" from spot load tickets (Version 2.5.2): Users now have the option to remove the text "Not legal for trade" and "Driver Signature" from printed tickets for spot load transactions. On the WeighComp app's Settings page, users can toggle the optional text ON or OFF:
- Duplicate tickets are no longer sent to PULSE (Version 2.5.2): Additional safeguards have been added to prevent the system from sending duplicate tickets to PULSE.
- Added ability to create harvest loads while offline (Version 2.5.2): When the WeighComp app device is not connected to the internet, users can now create loads. When the app device reconnects to the internet, the system will automatically send the created loads to PULSE.
- Improved Harvest summary information (Version 2.5.2): The load summary information now syncs with PULSE so if any harvest load changes are made in PULSE, the WeighComp app updates to reflect those changes. Additionally, a connection status indicator was added to show the user if the WeighComp app is connected to PULSE and all data is up-to-date
or if the WeighComp app is not connected to PULSE and the system will show the last time the data was updated

- WeighComp now syncs every five minutes (Version 2.5.2): Previously, the WeighComp app would sync automatically in the background, but only when the user navigated to the WeighComp app home screen. Now, the WeighComp app syncs in the background every five minutes when the user is using any WeighComp app screen. This ensures that the data in the WeighComp app will always be synced with the data in PULSE.
- Display improvements throughout the WeighComp app (Version 2.5.2): Numerous edits — such as button appearances, color settings, font sizes, and alignment corrections — were implemented in the WeighComp app to improve usability.
- Updated Spanish number separators for U.S. dairies (Version 2.5.2): For U.S. dairies that use the WeighComp app in Spanish, users will now see numbers separated by a comma instead of a period. For example, users will see 1,000 (not 1.000) to denote one thousand.

- Multiple Confirm button taps no longer create multiple transactions (Version 2.5.2): Previously, when a user tapped the Confirm button multiple times, the system would process each button tap and create multiple instances for a single transaction. The same transaction for entering weights, pickups, or deliveries would display multiple times on the WeighComp app and PULSE. Now, the system will recognize only the first button tap and the transaction will only appear once.
- Fixed scrolling for vendors list (Version 2.5.2): Fixed an issue where the user was unable to scroll down the vendors list on the Forgot the name you added? page:
- Harvest status now updates after creating a load (Version 2.5.2): When a user creates a new load for a new harvest, the system will now automatically change the harvest's status from "Not started" to "In progress."
- Corrected empty weight values for Spanish users (Version 2.5.2): Fixed an issue where the system would display incorrect empty weight values during harvest loads. The value would not match empty weight values entered during Truck setup.
- Fixed Transactions page filter issue (Version 2.5.2): When users would filter their transactions by user name and by vendor, the system would still display vendors that were added by a different user. Now, users can apply the filters and the system will only display transactions that are created for the selected vendor and entered by the selected user:
- Improved spot load card appearance for Spanish users (Version 2.5.2): Spanish spot load cards now have a space between the Proveedor (Supplier) field and the supplier's name.
- Corrected language change for Filter by vendor (Version 2.5.2): Fixed an issue where the app would display the Filter by vendor text in the wrong language after the user changed the language from English to Spanish or vice versa.
- Fixed crash issue (Version 2.5.2): Fixed a crash issue where an updated version of the app would crash when any changes were made.

WeighComp in PULSE Platform

- Automatic closing of side panel after transaction approval: When approving a pending transaction, the Approve button in the side panel now briefly displays a checkmark after being clicked, indicating that the approval was successful, and then the side panel closes automatically.

WeighComp in PULSE Platform

- View additional products: When viewing products, you can now click the + symbol to view the additional products not listed on screen. Previously, you had to open a side panel with details in order to view all the products:
- Commas added to numeric values: All applicable numeric values now display with a comma to improve readability. For example, a value that previously displayed as 25600 now displays as 25,600.
- Updated delete confirmation button: The confirmation button on the Delete Transaction window has been changed from YES to DELETE to improve usability.
WeighComp in PULSE Platform

- Improved print and/or export transaction details: The ability to print or export the details for any pending or approved transaction within the Harvest Management page has been improved. Now, the printed/exported details will include results according to the filters set at the top of the page.
- Added prompt to save changes for vendor settings: When users edit vendor settings in a side panel, the system will now prompt users to save their changes before closing the side panel.
- Field deletion message now includes field ID
Identifier: When users delete a field, the Delete Field message prompt now displays the selected field ID.

- Dates now display for manually-created loads: Fixed an issue where the system was not displaying dates for manually-created loads in Yield per Field and Yield per Day reports.
- Corrected date filter in Harvest Management: Fixed an issue where users would set the system to only show data from the current day, but the system would also display yesterday's data.
- Fixed Approved Loads display issue: The Approved Loads will now display the information for both Pending and Approved harvests.
- Fixed the vendor filter for approved transactions: Fixed an issue where the system would not display any data about approved transactions if the user selected a vendor filter for Transaction Management.
WeighComp Mobile App
Release Date: 11/24/21

- Harvest list now syncs with PULSE Platform (Version 2.4.7): The WeighComp mobile app will now sync the harvest list with PULSE Platform every five minutes. This ensures that if users make changes to the harvest loads in PULSE Platform or the mobile app, the user will see the same information in either application.
- Single location automatically set for pickup transactions (Version 2.4.7): If users create a pickup transaction in the mobile app, the system now automatically applies a location to the transaction if there is only one location to choose from.
- Trucks are now sorted in numeric order (Version 2.4.7): When you navigate to the truck selection screen in the app, the system now displays the trucks in numeric order.
- Updated Select Dairy display (Version 2.4.7): Improved the appearance of the Select Dairy window by updating the text colors and the style of the drop-down list arrow.
- Improved loading time for harvest lists (Version 2.4.7): Harvest lists, including the Select harvest list and Select truck list, now load more quickly.
- Improved grid view appearance (Version 2.4.7): Previously, some entered data looked unaligned in some selection screens that included a grid view. All fields now appear aligned when users open the Select harvest, Trucks, or Trucking company selection screens.

- Activation of Spanish language (Version 2.4.8): Fixed an issue where the app would show English text when set to the Spanish language.
- App no longer crashes after tapping Confirm button multiple times (Version 2.4.7): Fixed an issue where the app would crash if users tapped the Confirm button several times after selecting a truck and entering the truck's weight.
- App no longer crashes after entering a new truck's empty weight before truck name (Version 2.4.7): Fixed an issue where the app would crash if users entered the empty weight for a new truck before they entered a name for the new truck.
- Fixed company assignment for trucks (Version 2.4.7): Fixed an issue where the system would unassign trucks from a company.
- Company filter temporarily removed (Version 2.4.7): On the Create harvest truck selection screen, the system will no longer display the Filter by Company drop-down list until the feature is fully developed in a future release.
- Fixed updated settings display (Version 2.4.7): Previously, if a user navigated to the Settings screen from the Harvest screen and updated any settings, the saved changes would appear unsaved. The issue has been fixed.
- Disabled unnecessary buttons during truck delivery (Version 2.4.7): When users edit truck weights or field in a side panel, the Print Harvest button, Home button, and Complete Harvest button are no longer enabled.
- Corrected language change for "Harvest" (Version 2.4.7): Fixed an issue where the app would display "Harvest" in the wrong language after the user changed the language to Spanish.
- Improved Español button appearance (Version 2.4.7): The app now displays the Español button correctly for all devices that are compatible with the WeighComp mobile app.
- Fixed new trucking company display (Version 2.4.7): After users created a new trucking company, the Trucking Company list previously showed unnecessary white space. The issue has been fixed.

- Harvest duplication (Version 2.4.4): Fixed an issue that was allowing a harvest to be created multiple times in the mobile app.

- Harvest summary data update (Version 2.4.2): The fields for harvest summary data (i.e., Accumulated net weight, Loads total, and Loads today) only showed data for pending loads after approving loads in PULSE Platform. This issue has been fixed so that the harvest summary data shows totals for both pending and approved loads.
- Ticket numbering reset issue (Version 2.4.2): Ticket numbers mistakenly reset to "2" when entering values for empty truck weights two or more times between loads. This issue has been corrected.
- Truck net weight (Version 2.4.2): An issue has been fixed that caused the wrong net weight to display for trucks during new harvest loads when the full weight for the truck was lower than its empty weight.
- Updating deleted fields (Version 2.4.2): Fields deleted in PULSE Platform are now also deleted from the mobile app.
- Field display (Version 2.4.2): An issue has been fixed that caused the value displayed in the "Accumulated net weight field" for harvest summaries to extend beyond the frame of the field. This issue did not affect the accuracy of the value shown, only the clarity of its display.
- Bluetooth scale weighing (Version 2.4.2): An issue prevented the Bluetooth scale weighing function in the app from making a connection. This issue has been fixed.
- Bluetooth crash (Version 2.4.2): An issue caused the mobile app to crash when attempting to cancel the prompt to allow access to "TM-m30 Bluetooth" (for printing). This issue has been corrected.

WeighComp Mobile App
Release Date: 09/09/21

- Fixed automatic closing of truck input window (Version 2.4.1): The window for editing harvest truck load values failed to close after attempting to confirm changes to field/location default values, sometimes resulting in duplicate ticket numbers. This issue has been fixed.
- Fixed duplicate ticket number issue (Version 2.4.1): Ticket numbers failed to increase when either the Print end harvest total or the Do not print option was selected for print setup during harvest configuration. This resulted in duplicate ticket numbers in PULSE Platform. This issue has been fixed.

WeighComp Mobile App
Release Date: 08/26/21

- Incorrect timestamps: An issue caused incorrect timestamps to display for both spot load and harvest transactions. This issue has been fixed.
- Weight values shown with comma instead of decimal point (Version 2.4.0): An issue caused weight values in the harvest summary screen and truck list to display with a comma instead of a decimal point. This issue has been fixed so that these values now display with a decimal point:
WeighComp in PULSE Platform

- AF Cost/Ton failed to populate: The "AF Cost/Ton" field for ingredients failed to populate for values of 4 digits or higher. This issue has been fixed.
- Dry matter percentages: The user can no longer enter dry matter percentages over 100% for harvest and spot transactions.
- Delivery communication issue: An issue caused WeighComp to fail to send delivery data to the desktop. This issue has been resolved.
- Approval issue for pending transactions: An issue prevented users from approving harvest and spot load transactions containing a dry matter percentage value with a decimal point. This issue has been fixed.
- Duplicate tickets issue: An issue has been addressed that caused the app to send the user duplicate tickets.
WeighComp Mobile App
Release Date: 08/11/21

- Target API level changed (Version 2.3.0): The target API level for the app has been set to 30+ to match new Android requirements.
- Rounded values for harvest loads: An improvement has been made so that harvest load values now display with decimal points, instead of displaying as rounded values.

- Truck selection issue (Version 2.3.0): A frozen app screen caused the user to be unable to select a truck for weighing. This issue has been fixed.
- App crash without dairy setup (Version 2.3.0): An issue was reported that caused the app to crash when no dairy was setup to run with it. This issue has been addressed.
- Loads Today field failed to reset (Version 2.3.0): The "Loads Today" field for harvests failed to reset to zero. This issue has been fixed.
- Harvest screen behavior (Version 2.3.0): An issue caused the app to revert back to the previous screen when attempting to select a truck when no printer was paired with the system. This issue has been fixed.
- Harvest summary fields issue (Version 2.3.0): An issue caused the harvest summary values for "Accumulated Net Weight" and "Load Today" to change. This issue has been addressed.
- Net weight failed to refresh (Version 2.3.0): An issue caused the "Accumulated Net Weight" field to fail to refresh properly. This issue has been fixed.

WeighComp in PULSE Platform

- Transaction Management summaries: The Transaction Management page now includes summary totals/averages for the data reported in the grid. These summaries reflect any filter options that may be selected:
- New Weight fields for harvest loads: Exported harvest management reports for pending loads and approved loads now include data for full weight and empty weight, along with the already existing net weight data. (Note that these new fields only appear on the exported version of the pending/approved harvest load grids; they are not present on the harvest Pending/Approved Loads tabs):

- Fixed load information problem: An issue has been fixed that caused data to go missing after editing pending loads.
WeighComp Mobile App
Release Date: 07/01/21

- Fixed offline mode issue (Version 2.2.0): An issue caused the WeighComp mobile app to crash when entering loads offline. The issue has been fixed.
- Fixed ticket numbering problems (Version 2.2.0): The harvest ticket number that gets sent to PULSE Platform now matches the ticket number that is printed from the tablet. Also, the ticket number will now increment properly between making spot and harvest loads.
- Fixed app crash issue (Version 2.2.1): Resolved an issue in which the app would force close on start-up.

- Harvest Management filters: New filters have been added to the Harvest Management page, allowing you to better manage the display of pending and approved harvests:
- View overview and loads for approved harvests: Users can now view an overview and a list of loads for approved harvests by clicking on the name of the harvest in the Harvest Management page:
- View details for approved harvests: In the Harvest Management page, clicking on the row of an approved harvest now opens a side panel containing the full details of the harvest:
- View details for approved transactions: In the Transaction Management page, clicking on an approved transaction now opens a side panel containing the full details of the transaction:

- Improved performance of bulk edits and approvals: Enhanced the performance of bulk edits and bulk approvals to groups of transactions.
- Improved vendor/product assignment: The process by which products are assigned to vendors has been streamlined to save time and add additional transparency.
- Added delete icon to pending harvest loads list: A delete icon has been added to the Pending Loads tab for harvests. Now users can delete a pending load directly from the list, instead of having to first open the side panel.
- Improved print and/or export transaction details: The ability to print or export the details for any pending or approved transaction within the Transaction Management and Harvest Management pages has been improved. Now, the printed/exported details only include results according to the filters set at the top of the page.

WeighComp in PULSE Platform

- Print and/or export transaction details: You can now print or export the details for any pending or approved transaction within the Transaction Management and Harvest Management pages:
- Add fields to products: Users can now assign a product to a field or assign field(s) to a product. This allows users to quickly see which fields are associated to each product:

- Improved sorting for transactions and harvests: Data sorting on the Transaction Management and Harvest Management windows has been improved so that now they sort by transaction/harvest date instead of ticket number.
- Added sorting options for transactions: The data on the Transaction Management window can now be sorted by additional column headers of the grid.
- Added prompt to save changes: Users who edit transaction or harvest data in a side panel will now be prompted to save their changes before closing the side panel.
- Automatic update of data: The harvest Yield Summaries page now updates automatically after making edits to the loads. This eliminates the need to manually refresh the data.

- Fixed transaction sorting error: An issue caused transactions to sort incorrectly on the Transaction Management page when using the Start Date/Time column. This issue has been resolved.
- Approved harvest link temporarily removed: The clickable harvest name link on the Approved tab of the Harvest Management page has been temporarily removed. Harvest details for approved harvests will be added in a future release.
WeighComp Mobile App
Release Date: 04/30/21

- Spanish mode now available for harvests (Version 2.1.0): The harvest feature of the WeighComp mobile app can now be used in the Spanish language.
- Settings and ticket number preservation (Version 2.1.0): The previously configured settings and ticket number can now be preserved when the WeighComp mobile app is uninstalled and then reinstalled.
- Condec support added (Version 2.1.0): A Condec weight stream option has been added to the WeighComp mobile app, allowing for easier setup of various scale indicator types. The Condec weight stream can be set up using the Universal indicator type in the app settings:
- Printer setup option choice required for harvests (Version 2.1.0): When setting up printing in the WeighComp mobile app for harvests, users are now required to choose one of three options before proceeding—Print after each transaction, Print end harvest total, or Do not print.

- Fixed truck list scrolling (Version 2.0.2): An issue prevented scrolling of the truck list for a given harvest when more than 18 trucks were listed. This issue has been fixed.

New Features
The following new features are available in the WeighCompPULSE Platform:
- Field deletion (WCA-473): Users can now manually delete fields from the Fields tab simply by clicking the delete icon:
- Manually add harvest transactions (WCA-702): Users can now manually create harvest transactions using the New Transaction button, located at the upper-right of the Pending Loads tab on the harvest details page:
- Print and/or export yield summary information (WCA-676): Yield summary information for harvests can now be printed or exported in PDF or CSV format directly from the harvest Overview tab:
- Apply average DM/Cost to pending loads (WCA-714): Users can now apply the values for average dry matter percentage and average cost to any pending harvest loads that do not yet have these values applied:
- New Approved Loads tab (WCA-479): The harvest details page now includes a tab that displays approved loads in addition to the already-existing tab for pending loads:
- Pending truck loads deletion (WCA-461): Users can now delete pending truck loads for harvests. To do so, select the load from the Pending tab and then click the delete icon from the side panel:
- Delete harvest functionality (WCA-455): Users can now delete a harvest by selecting it from the main Harvest Management page and then clicking the delete icon from the side panel:
Enhancements
The following enhancements are available in the WeighCompPULSE Platform:
- Approved loads renamed "completed loads" on side panel (WCA-713): Approved loads have been renamed to "Completed Loads" in the side panel that appears when clicking on a harvest from the main Harvest Management page. Note that a "completed" load is a pending load that has a location, dry matter percentage (DM%), and cost entered:
- Modify fields from the Settings page (WCA-472): Users can now rename fields and modify their acreage values from the Fields tab of the Settings page.
Bug Fixes
The following bug fixes have been addressed in the WeighCompPULSE Platform:
- Dry matter percentage field (WCA-752): The dry matter percentage field (DM%) on the side panels for pending and approved loads now shows values to two decimal places.

The following new features are available in the WeighCompPULSE Platform:
- Manual transaction creation (WCA-276): Users can now manually create delivery and pickup transactions from the just-added New Transaction button, located at the upper-right of the Transaction Management page:
- Edit or approve multiple harvest loads simultaneously (WCA-685): In the Harvest Management feature, users can now edit or approve multiple pending harvest loads in a single operation:

New Features
The following new features are available in the WeighCompPULSE Platform:
- Harvest Management: The new WeighComp Harvest Management feature allows you to view and manage all of your harvests. This includes the ability to edit and approve harvest loads, and eventually approve your harvests.
- Reconcile approved transactions (WCA-545): An optional step has been added to electronically verify that the desired loads for a product were actually brought to (or picked up from) the dairy. Transactions that have been reconciled are signified in the Reconciled column of the Approved tab in the Transaction Management page.
- View and add fields from the Settings page (WCA-497 & WCA-214): A new tab has been added to the Settings page that displays the fields that have been configured for use in WeighComp transactions. Users can also add new fields from the new Fields tab.
Enhancements
The following enhancements are available in the WeighCompPULSE Platform:
- Simplified editing of product/location and dry matter percentage with cost values (WCA-483): Users can now edit the product/location for transactions and import dry matter percentage and cost values in a single operation. Previously, users were required to edit the product and location for transactions first, save those changes, and then import dry matter percentage and cost values.
- Approved transaction details (WCA-377): The details for approved transactions can now be viewed within a side panel that displays when clicking on a transaction in the Approved tab of the Transaction Management page.
- Indicator for manually entered weights (WCA-238): Manually entered start and end weights for transactions are now indicated with a red "M" symbol:

New Features
The following new features are available in the WeighComp mobile app:
- Location setting (WCA-220): Location can now be disabled so that the driver is not prompted to select a location when making a delivery or pickup:
- Pending transactions setting (WCA-227): Pending transactions (i.e., transactions without an End Weight) can now be automatically removed from the application after a predetermined amount of days:
- Auto-navigate to Home (WCA-321:) The Re-Print screen now times out after 5 minutes and automatically navigates to the Home screen.
Enhancements
The following enhancements are available in the WeighComp mobile app:
- New icon (WCA-244): The "Forgot the name you added" icon has been replaced with a larger icon that's easier to press:
- Filter visibility (WCA-302): The Vendor, Product, and Location filters are now only visible if the available options to select require multiple pages to view all items:
- App setting warning notification (WCA-320): Users are now prompted with a confirmation message if they attempt to enable or disable an app setting:
- Printing of Location (WCA-405): Location now only appears on the Ticket Preview and Printed Ticket if the user was prompted for Location.
Bug Fixes
The following bug fixes have been addressed in the WeighComp mobile app:
- Null address on initial login (WCA-369): Fixed a crash issue during initial app setup due to a missing dairy street address.

New Features
The following new features are available in the WeighComp Platform:
- Bulk transaction edit (WCA-281): Multiple pending transactions with the same product can now be edited at the same time.
- Bulk transaction approval (WCA-273): Multiple pending transactions can now be approved at the same time.
- Delete button added to transaction details panel (WCA-349:) Pending transactions can now be deleted using a newly added side panel button:
- Import dry matter and cost data from FeedComp (WCA-378:) You can now import the dry matter percentage (DM%) and cost data for a pending transaction directly from FeedComp. Doing so provides the most current data available for those values. Dry matter and cost data can be added to individual transactions, or to multiple transactions using the new bulk edit feature. (When using bulk edit to add dry matter and cost data, the selected transactions must have the same product and location.)
