Tasks & Worklists

Users must have Herd Read permissions to view worklists.

Users with Herd Write permissions can perform the following additional tasks:

  • Tap or scan an animal to mark it as DONE. The Mark Done option is not visible for users without Herd Write permissions.
  • Process changes and send list updates back to the PULSE Platform, DairyComp 305, or our integrated PULSE Platform partner products. The Process Changes button is not visible for users without Herd Write permissions.
  • Undo an animal on the DONE list.

VAS PULSE Platform Worklists are available for processing from the mobile app, where you can view your lists, look up animals, mark animals as Done, and process updates while out on the dairy!

Worklists in the PULSE Platform can originate from multiple sources: 

  • Worklist Gallery or Recurring Worklists tab in the web version of the PULSE Platform
  • DairyComp 305 and sent to the PULSE Platform using the \K switch (to-do lists and vet lists) or the \HK switch (hospital lists)
  • Integrated PULSE Platform partner systems

After your worklists are in the PULSE Platform, they sync to your mobile devices in the next care package. The current PULSE Platform release supports To-Do Lists, Vet Lists, and Hospital Lists.

PULSE Platform Worklists do not yet support the following features:

  • Using voice commands to look up an animal on a list
  • Searching for an animal that is not on the list
  • Parlor-based hospital lists
  • Configurable sounds for hospital lists
