Recurring Worklists

Only users who are assigned to a Role with Herd Write permissions can use this feature. See Edit User Permissions and Manage Roles for more information.

On the Recurring Worklists page, you can manage all of your most-used custom and standard worklists in one place. You can find this feature under the DairyComp, Worklists menu.

Standard Worklists

The Worklists Gallery includes a variety of standard lists that you can save to your Recurring Worklists for quick and easy reuse.

Go to your Gallery tab and click the worklist's star icon star icon. The list now appears in your Recurring Worklists tab and the star icon changes to star icon - saved to indicate that it was saved.

NOTE: Standard worklists added from the Gallery cannot be modified.

Toggle the star icon star icon "off" to remove the list from the Recurring Worklists tab. If you change your mind, you can re-add the list from the Gallery.

NOTE: Standard worklists added from the Gallery cannot be deleted.

Custom Worklists

From the Open Worklists page, you can save custom worklists that you created in Worklist Builder or in DairyComp 305 to your Recurring Worklists page.

Go to the Open Worklists tab and open any worklist. Click the Options button Options button in the upper right corner.

SelectSave as a Recurring Worklist, enter your worklist's Title and Description, and click Save:

If you click the Options button Options button again, the option now displays as Saved as a Recurring Worklist to indicate that the list was saved.

After you save a worklist to your Recurring Worklists, you can schedule the worklist and add it to the Process Scheduler calendar:

  1. Click the Schedule Process button for the worklist you'd like to schedule. This opens a side panel where you can schedule the process:

  2. Use the following guidelines to schedule your worklist:
    • Select the date and time to start the process.
    IMPORTANT: Set the Day to Start to a future time, either later today or a future date, as scheduling a process at a time that has passed will not run until the next time the scheduled interval is reached. For instance, if you schedule a process to start on Mondays at 5 am, but today is a Monday at 9 am, the enrollment will start next week at 5 am.
    • Set the schedule for the process: 
      1. Set the Repetition to Repeats.
      2. Set the frequency and interval for the process. For instance, to run a process weekly, set Every to 1 and Intervals to Week.
    • Click Schedule.

    After you schedule your worklist, it shows the Scheduled icon and Process Scheduler includes the process. To view the generated worklist, go to your Open Worklists.

In the Recurring Worklists tab, click the Options button and select the Edit button to update your list details. You can edit the name or description of your list and you can even edit the list's statement, which is the command that generates the worklist. Click Update to confirm your changes.

In the Recurring Worklists tab, click the Delete button and click Remove to confirm.
