Activate SomaDetect Integration

NOTE: Self-service integrations are only available to our DC Unlimited users. DC Pro users must contact VAS Support to connect this integration.

SomaDetect's one-directional integration with the PULSE Platform allows for bulk VAS animal data, including stall location, test day details, and diagnosis events, to be shared with SomaDetect's system. Follow these steps to activate the integration with SomaDetect:

  1. In PULSE, navigate to Partners > Integrations Gallery > SomaDetect.
  2. Click See Details or See Requirements on the SomaDetect integration card.
  3. Follow the Connection Instructions on the right side of the page to establish the connection:
    1. Click the Connection Status toggle and verify the status switches to Active: 

      Connection Status: Active

    2. Click Save.
    3. If necessary, click Edit Integration to make any adjustments or edits and save your changes.
IMPORTANT: If your integration does not automatically connect, contact your SomaDetect representative to connect the integration from their system.
  1. In the PULSE Platform, select DairyComp  > Settings> Item Definitions from the menu bar.
  2. Use the Filter by field to search for each of the required items by Name or Standard # to verify they exist in your dairy:

    If necessary, add or update your items in the PULSE Platform or DairyComp 305.

    IMPORTANT: Use caution when adding or updating item details. Standard #s can only be assigned once from the PULSE Platform.
